ABOUT
Hey there lovers!
Lorri’s the name and being a vibrant, outgoing, and fun-loving Celebrant is the game. I am a thirty-something-year old living in the fab city of Adelaide, with my husband and gorgeous doggo Lottie. Whilst planning our own wedding, I realised how much I loved the journey (and weddings in general) and knew I had to be in the wedding industry in some way. I am a people person who thrives off human connection, and having always had a creative side, it suddenly clicked – why not be the one who legally hitches a couple of lovers?
So, Marry Me Lorri was born.
Over the last decade, I have worked as an Occupational Therapist, and I love it. I work with people who are blind or vision impaired and facilitate them to become more independent in their daily lives. Being kind, empathetic, client-centred, building connection, and bringing them reassurance is important and I honestly believe that these skills naturally transfer into my role as a Celebrant.
What you see here is what you get. I am professional, organised, and have a mild obsession with attention to detail BUT I am equally silly, loud, funny, and will always be the first one to laugh at myself. Throwing myself into the wedding industry and being around amazing humans, every day fills my cup endlessly.
As your Celebrant, I hope to bring a sense of calm as you approach your wedding day whilst ensuring that you both have FUN! Consider me your professional cheerleader, your hype gal, and the one who will always be there to offer guidance, lend a helping hand or just be your soundboard. I promise that I will do all that I can to bring to life the most perfectly unique representation of who you are and just how much you love each other.
